Research Interests

Lindsey Smith is a licensed professional counselor (LCPC) and certified addictions counselor (CAC-AD). She has been with Epoch Counseling Center since 2007, when she started as a graduate intern at the Catonsville office. Ms. Smith has held various positions at Epoch, including Administrative Assistant, Counselor, and Program Development Coordinator. She currently serves as Quality Assurance Coordinator and oversees the needs of various clinical and administrative procedures, supervises upper administrative staff, and maintains a small individual client caseload.

Ms. Smith earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Towson University. Ms. Smith’s clinical experience and interests include treatment of substance abuse, co-occurring disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, and women’s issues with focus on overall health and wellness. In addition to clinical work, Ms. Smith is passionate about staff development and wellbeing and program enhancement.
