Brief Biography

Donald Pressley grew up in Philadelphia and earned his Bachelor’s degree in
Psychology from Quinnipiac University. After completing an internship with Drexel
University’s Autism Institute, where he gained hands-on exposure to applied behavioral
research and community-based initiatives supporting individuals on the autism
spectrum, he was then able to gain professional experience as a Behavior Health
Technician. These experiences shaped his interest in applied psychology, behavioral
science, and evidence-based interventions.

At FRI, Donald works as a Research Assistant under Dr. Karen Alexander on the
Philly NavSTAR study, which focuses on implementing patient navigation to improve
health outcomes for individuals with opioid use disorder.
