Tim joined the Friends Research Institute, Inc. (FRI) Board of Directors in 2018 and serves as the Treasurer. He has a passion for working with nonprofit organizations, providing financial and operational guidance to such organizations.
Starting in early 2018, Tim began working for Enterprise Community Partners, Inc. (Enterprise), a national nonprofit organization that advocates for the development of affordable, sustainable housing communities and for providing equal access to social services across the socioeconomic spectrum.
Tim was previously employed by KatzAbosch, a large regional accounting firm, where he served as the director of the firm’s nonprofit services group, performing audits and examinations of both large and small nonprofit organizations.
Both tenures were preceded by a stint working for Ernst & Young, LLP as a staff auditor.
In addition to his service to FRI, Tim serves on the Board of Directors for Central Scholarship, a Maryland nonprofit organization that provides scholarship awards to deserving Maryland students. Tim also sits on the Audit Committee of the Columbia Association, a community not-for-profit association in Columbia, Maryland (where Enterprise’s headquarters reside).
Tim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has been licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 2008.
