Research Interests

Meredith received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, where she majored in psychology and criminology/criminal justice. She is passionate about working with people involved in the criminal justice system who have substance use disorders and is excited to help conduct research that could allow them to live healthier lives.

At FRI, Meredith is working as a Research Assistant for Dr. Gordon on his NIDA-funded study that provides interim buprenorphine to probationers and parolees at a community supervision office to determine if this strategy increases access to treatment and reduces the use of illicit opioids and criminal activity.
