Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, Ms. Harper moved to Baltimore, Maryland to attend Morgan State University. She graduated in December of 2018 with a BS in psychology and is currently working on completing her graduate program in mental health therapy at the University of Baltimore. In 2016, Ms. Harper accepted an internship at the University of California Los Angeles where she worked alongside Dr. Steven Shoptaw. While at UCLA, she earned a top student presentation on her paper focusing on determining if naltrexone was cost efficient over standard care. In the Summer of 2017, Ms. Harper worked as a lab assistant at Morgan State University, assisting Dr. Justin Bonnie with preliminary electroencephalogram (EEG) research.
At FRI, Ms. Harper is currently working as a research assistant for Dr. Gordon on his NIDA funded study, Buprenorphine for probationers and parolees: Bridging the gap into treatment.
