Emily received a B.A. from Elizabethtown College where she studied Psychology and minored in Human Services. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Psychological Science at the University of Maryland, College Park. Her primary research interests include the effectiveness of interventions meant to improve the physical and mental health outcomes of marginalized communities.
At FRI, Emily works as a Research Assistant under Drs. Gordon, Mitchell, Blue, and Vocci on a NIDA-funded study comparing the effectiveness of extended-release naltrexone and extended-release buprenorphine as a treatment for opioid use disorder in individuals leaving jails.
