Friends Research Institute Awards

Research Ethics Award

The purpose of the award is to acknowledge the contributions of a leading scholar with moral courage in the area of research ethics.  Recognition of a leading scholar will promote the ethical conduct of research and focus attention on the need to maintain high standards of ethics in research.

The awardee must have made significant original contributions to the knowledge in research ethics in the form of published literature or by other recognized means.  In addition, the awardee also must demonstrate personal moral courage consistent with the awardee’s work in this area.  The awardee may be from any country.
